Our bodyshop supplies free 'no obligation' estimates for insurance and private accident repairs and we also loan courtesy cars free of charge whilst we carry out the highest quality repairs to your car.

The Office of Fair Trading and the Association of British Insurers have agreed that you are legally entitled to have your car repaired at a bodyshop of your choice and because we work for all the major companies such as Direct Line, Norwich Union, Zurich, Churchill etc. there is no need to drive around obtaining several estimates.

To instigate repairs what do you need to do?

Firstly:  If your car is driveable, please bring the car to us and we will inspect it whilst you wait (usually a few minutes) and then create an estimate which we can fax directly to your insurance companies claim department. If your car is too damaged to drive, phone us and we will organise a recovery company to collect the vehicle for you.

Secondly:  Phone your insurance company to notify them of the accident/claim, tell them that you wish to have your car repaired at Coles and Blackwell and ask them for the claim number, the claim department telephone and fax numbers.

Normally within a day or two an insurance engineer will contact us to agree repair costs, depending on the extent of the damage they may request the vehicle to be on site for their inspection but more usually they authorize the repairs by telephone. Once we have their go-ahead, we will order the necessary parts and book your car in for repair.

Whilst we repair your car, we will loan you, free of charge, one of our new cars, until the repair is completed.
